"Chia" is the Mayan word for "strength" which was an important food for the Aztecs and Mayans hundreds of years ago. Despite their importance in ancient history and their popularity for providing energy, it has only been recently that chia seeds became a modern day super food.
My little seeds are also loaded with antioxidants that fight the production of free radicals and slow down aging. While many health conscious people avoid the word "carbohydrate" my seeds are full of carbs to provide the energy its known for but 90% of the carbs are fiber, which does not get digested into the body and does not raise blood sugar.
My seeds are drenched in an ocean of coconut water that is both hydrating and tasty.
